Sarah Elizabeth (Vaughn) Snow is the daughter of Joe & Nance (Richardson) Vaughn. She is the wife of James 'Wiley' Snow.
Together they had five children, their names are; Ruby, Aulcie, Lester "Bud", Gene, and Curtis "Skip".
In the last years of her life, Sarah, along with her nephew, Columbus Vaughn co-wrote a book, "This was Frank James". It told of her and her families' life as the children of Joe Vaughn/Frank James. Included in this book is the original writings of her father, Frank James alias Joe Vaughn. She took the belief that her dad really was the outlaw Frank James to her grave. It had been a life long quest for her to prove that he really was who he said he was.
