January 30, 1895 - July 23, 1974
Mrs. Mary Norris Gaunt, of 516 E. 4th St., El Dorado, died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital after a short illness. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Gaunt was the daughter of Andrew and Annett Johnson Norris and was a member of a pioneer family in El Dorado. She was a staff member of the Exchange Bank and Trust and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She leaves a niece, Mrs. W. Joe Wilson, Houston, Tex.; five great-nephews and a great-niece. The family will be at the residence of Mrs. Burney Wilson, 728 N. Madison. (El Dorado News-Times - July 24, 1974)
