PEA RIDGE — Kathy Paulette Nida, 54, of Pea Ridge died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was born Dec. 9, 1946, in War Eagle to William Rizley and Meda Gibson Rizley. She was a life resident of the area.
She enjoyed gardening and going to yard sales. Kathy operated a poultry farm in Pea Ridge. She was married to Darrell E. Nida, who preceded her in death in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Albert Rizley, and a sister, Carolyn Bucklew.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Nida and wife Shauna of Pea Ridge and Stephen Nida of Pea Ridge; one daughter, Kristen Landers and husband Richard of Pea Ridge; one brother, Clifford Rizley of Wichita, Kan.; four sisters, Betty Nolan of Elm Springs, Bonnie Bailey of Marietta, Okla., Connie Wise of Pea Ridge and Anna Oliver of Avoca; three grandsons, Matthew Nida, Patrick Landers and Christopher Nida, all of Pea Ridge; four granddaughters, Star Nida, Sarah Nida, Alexis Nida, Jessica Landers, all of Pea Ridge; and a special friend and companion, Floyd Johnson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today, Nov. 2, 2001, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers with Ben Rowell officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery
