Mrs. Marjorie Rood Applegate, Rogers, died Sunday night at Rogers Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Applegate was born in Columbus, Kan., and moved to Rogers with her parents when a young girl.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Chapter U, P.E.O. and Rogers Panhellenic Association.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred (Fred) R. Applegate.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Callison Funeral Home with the Rev. William A. Rail officiating.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a favorite charity. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
