Obituary
Mary Frances Moss was born June 2, 1848 and died June 29, 1919 – aged 71 years and 27 days. Married William H. Moser in 1866; professed faith in Christ in early life and joined the M.E. Church in 1867 and lived a consistent member until her Father saw fit to call her from our midst. To this union was born nine children, seven girls and two boys. She was at the home of her son Daniel Moser, at the time of her death.
She was stricken with paralysis some three years (word unclear) to her death and bore her suffering with patience and always said she was willing for God’s will to be done.
Oh! How we miss seeing grandma sit in the big rocker for grandpa to read to her. We are sad and lonely but we know that grandma has joined the happy angel band. Dear grandpa, weep not as those who have no hope. While we miss her from our midst we know she is with her four dear ones gone on before and some sweet day we can meet grandma and all the rest. Pray on and watch and wait. Some day the Lord will say, your tolls are over and your work well done, then you can be with the dear companion you loved so well.
May the Lord help and guide us all to where we can be at rest as grandma is.
