Charlotte Saji
SILVER SPRING, Md. — Charlotte Saji, 62, of Silver Spring died July 9, 2002, at Atlanta, Ga. She was born May 23, 1940, in Modesto, Calif. to Artis Ray and Eunice Audrey Stamps Sitton. She was a former resident of Gentry. She was a school guidance counselor for the Howard County, Md., school system and was a member of the Society of Friends in Sandy Springs, Md.
Survivors include her husband, Ben Saji of the home; one son, Peter Ray Saji of Los Angeles, Calif.; two stepsons, Roscoe Sheffield and Joel Sheffield, both of New Haven, Conn.; four stepdaughters, Ayana Heider of Hartford, Conn. Fulani Saji of Silver Spring, Keren Sheffield Saji of Hartford and Miriam Sheffield of New Haven; ll grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold Ray Sitton of Carson City, Nev.; one aunt, Bertha Roberts of Tontitown.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Springtown Pentecostal Church with Bishop John C. Sheffield officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam.Springs.
