Reuben Dickhaut
Reuben Dickhaut, 75, of Gentry, died Sunday, Sept. 16 in Shawnee Mission, Kan.
Born May 22, 1915, in Iiving, Alberta, Canada, to Jacob and Mary Dickhaut, he was a retired livestock farmer and moved to Gentry from Harrison in 1977. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Gentry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leah, in 1985.
Survivors include three sons, Leroy Dickhaut of Gentry, Calvin Dickhaut of Kansas City, Kan., and Roger Dickhaut of Georgetown, Texas; three brothers, Rhieny Dickhaut of Denhoff, N.D., Dan Dickhaut of Redfield, S.D., and Clarence Dickhaut of Bismarck, N. D.; four sisters, Lillie Buchman and Gertie Sailor, both of Bismarck, Esther Maier of Stockton, Calif., and Elsie Bender of Bismarck, 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Gentry. Pastor Glenn Hill will officiate. Burial will be in Gentry Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home.
