CARL J DILL

Funeral service for Carl Jackson Dill, 72, of Mulberry, was held Tuesday at 2 pm, at the Center Point church, with Rev Glen Dipboye and Rev. Boyd Allen officiating.
Mr Dill died Monday at 4:05 am, at Turner hospital here. A resident of Franklin county most of his life, he had recently moved to Mulberry from the Cravens community.

Survivors include his wife Annie Owen Dill; two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Simmons of Earth, Tex., and Mrs Nettie Riddle of Booker, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Atkerson of Strathmore, Calif., Mrs. Addie Boyes of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mrs Mary Sublett of Dallas; six brothers, Tom of Brownsville, Tex., Will of Fresno, Calif., and Horace, Connie, Lonnie and J.D., all of Strathmore, Calif.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Carl, Jr was stillborn, March 6, 1924 in Franklin Co, AR. Anna was crippled with a back injury resulting from his birth.

MRS ANNIE DILL

Funeral services for Mrs Annie Melinda Dill, 74, of Mulberry, were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Center Point Free Will Baptist church, Rt 1, Mulberry. Burial was at Hixson Cemetery by Greer Funeral Home.

Mrs Dill died about 2 pm Sunday at the Crawford County hospital after an extended illness. Daughter of the late Aaron and *Sabrina (*Safrona) Medlock Owen, she was born Jan 11, 1898, in Franklin County. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Mrs. Juanita Simmons of Dumas, Tex., and Mrs Nettie Riddle of Booker, Tex.; one sister, Mrs Mary Hopper of Star Rt 1, Ozark; and three brothers, Henry Owen of Ozark, Raymond Owen of Mulberry, and Alfred Owen of Altus.
