SPRINGDALE - Kenneth Afton Lewis, age 75, of Springdale died Dec. 29, 2001, in Springdale. He was born April 7, 1926, in Drakes Creek, the son of Andrew and Ella Glenn Lewis. He was retired from Ken's Catering Service, which be owned for many years and had served in the US Navy. He was a deacon at Faith Regular Baptist Church, was involved in numerous civic clubs and received numerous national restaurant awards and loved to travel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Lewis, in 2000 and also by one brother, Keith Lewis, and one brother-in-law, Gerald Perryman.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jim Lewis and Gayle of Springdale, and Jeff Lewis of Pasco, Wash.; one daughter and son-in-1aw, Pat Stewart and Phil of Shawano, Wis.; one sister, Ludean Perryman of Landers, Calif.: one sister-in-law, Marilyn Lewis of Springdale; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Faith Regular Church with the Rev. Johnny Sisemore officiating.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

SPRINGDALE — Annis Lea Lewis, 70, of Springdale died March 26. 2000.

She was born July 29, 1929, in Springdale to Miley Otto and Garcie Benson Sullins.

She was a retired co-owner of Ken's Catering Service and a member of Faith Regular Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Lewis of the home, to whom she was married 53 years, two sons and daughters-in-law; Jim Lewis and Gayle of Springdale and Jeff Lewis and Kris of Pasco, Wash.; one daughter and son-in-law, Pat Stewart and Phil of Shawano, Wis.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Faith Regular Baptist Church in Elm Springs with the Rev. Johnny Sisemore officiating.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale.

Pallbearers will be Clarence Kendrick Jr., Bob Perry, Danny Marsh, Thomas McKinley, Stewart Higgins and Brian Higgins.
