MRS. VELDA PROPHET
Mrs. Velda C. Prophet, 64, Rogers, died Jan. 2 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 8, 1910, in Waynoka, Okla., she was the daughter of Clarence and Molly Coghill Rockhold and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Winton Prophet of the home; four sons, Wesley C. Prophet, Denver, Colo., Wylie E. Prophet, Eugene, Ore., Winston C. Prophet and Gary Prophet, Rogers; one daughter, Miss Terry Ann Prophet, Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother, Orvil Rockhold, Fort Worth, Tex., and one sister, Mrs. Erma Wilbanks, Huntington Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Callison Chapel Rogers, with the Rev. William Connell officiating. Burial will be in Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of Callison.
