Pauline Price Cox, 65, formerly of Cleveland County, Arkansas, died Tuesday, February 11, 2003, at the North Mississippi Medical Center, after an extended illness.
She was the widow of Raymond Cox who died in 1982.
Born in Monroe County, Mississippi on August 23, 1937, she was the daughter of late Ados Thanuel Price and late Ollie Gertrude Price.
She was raised in Arkansas, where she lived most of her life before moving to Fulton in 1990.
Pauline was a retired employee of Itawamba Manufacturing Company, and a homemaker.
She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Cox was also preceded in death by 1 sister: Grace Price Wilson Donaldson Watkins and brother: William Allen Price.
Survivors include 2 sons: Jackie Wayne Cox, Sr. of Rison and Jimmy Ray Cox of Beeville, Texas, and 2 daughters: Teresa Lynn Cox Holt of Fulton, Miss, and Angela Michelle Cox Lynn of Tremont, Miss. 2 special friends: Juanita Herrington of Rison and Margaret Lowery Reed of Pine Bluff, Ark. and 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled Thursday morning, February 13, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Buie Funeral Home in Rison to be conducted by David Leopard.
Burial will be in Reaves Cemetery, near New Edinburg.
Arrangements are in charge of McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton and Buie Funeral Home of Rison
Pallbearers will be Roger Rushing, Owen Thomas Rushing, Jessie Beatty, David Wayne Rushing, Gary Rushing, Tellas Rushing, Tommy Lynn and Bobby Lowery.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Jackie Wayne Cox Jr., Cody Allen Lynn, James Cox and Michael Cox.
Visitation is scheduled this (Wednesday) evening, February 12, 2003 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
