Emma Jean Price, 76, of Conway, died Saturday (Feb. 16, 2002) at Conway Regional Medical Center.Born March 15, 1925, in Conway, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Walls Lasker, she was retired from the Conway Human Development Center, a member of Mount Sinai Church of God in Christ, served on the mothers board and the usher board. She was president of the hospitality department, president of YPWW and served as Sunday School superintendent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lussie Horrace Price; and a son, Kerry Price.
Survivors are three sons, Deautris Price, Larry Price and Columbus Tuggle Jr., all of Conway; four daughters, Peggy Tuggle, Wanda Maltbia and Phyllis Gatewood, all of Conway, and Carol Price of Detroit; 29 grand children; and 66 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Lasker, Ceotis Lasker, Clarence Lasker, Herman Lasker, Tyrone Scott and Elva Mosby.
