Anna Faye Simpson, 71, of Floral died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born November 30, 1935 at Hutchinson Mountain, she was the daughter of Charles Franklin Beel and Clara Elizabeth (Wackerly) Beel. She worked at the International Shoe Company and was a farmer and homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy Doug Simpson of Floral; two stepsons, Vincent Marshal Simpson and Scott Russell Simpson both of Kansas City, Missouri; and a grandchild, Ashley Martin of Sunnydale.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Simpson; a grandson; and a sister, Vee L. Roberts.
Pallbearers were Jesse Burns, Von Garrett, Billy Scroggins, Mark Rutledge, Jesse Reynolds, and Virgil Bennett. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Massey, Boyd Moser, Bobby Joe England, Jim Hays, Gerald Barber, Doyne Finney, Dean Lambert and Billy Lambert.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 25 at the funeral home.
