MEEK-- James Calvin , 82, born 1915 in Berryville, AR, passed away Tuesday, November 25 at his home in Tulsa. Founder and owner of Meek's Furniture since 1930. Graduate of Tulsa Central High School, Army Veteran, 32nd Degree Mason, Past Master Lodge 71, member Turley Lions Club, Sperry Merchants' Association, lifetime Sertoman, Model ``A'' Club, numerous civic organizations. He was always working for the betterment of North Tulsa. Attended Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church. Survived by: wife, EllaMae Meek of the home; sons, James Meek and Jack Meek of Tulsa; 5 granddaughters; 5 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lolly Burgess, Tulsa and Ruby Cramberg, Tulsa; numerous friends and relatives. Service 10 a.m., Friday, Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church. Interment Berryville Memorial Cemetery, Berryville, AR. Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry. He is loved by all and will be greatly missed.
