T. J. Clark, 91, of Floral died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005.
Born April 20, 1913, in Elmo, he was the son of George Henry Clark and Sara Rebecca McClung. He was a retired armed guard at the University of Kansas Medical Center and was a member of Southside Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Clark of Floral and Tommy Clark of Newark; a daughter Jeanette Hofheins of Sedalia, Mo.; three sisters, Ivoy Morgan of Elmwood, Ill., Leota Morgan of Southside and Marie Barber of Hutchinson Mountain; seven grandchildren, Laura Hall, Steve Clark, Paul Hofheins, Pat Hofheins, Tony Clark, Trevor Clark and Troy Clark; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four wives; three brothers, Tom Clark, Clinton Clark and Verness Clark; a sister, Mildred Wackerly; and an infant daughter.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hutchinson Mountain Church of Christ with John Wilkins and Floyd Rine officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Willis-Hays Funeral Service of Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Steve Clark, Paul Hofheins, Pat Hofheins, Tony Clark, Trevor Clark and Troy Clark.
