BENTONVILLE — Edith Grace Loftin of Bentonville died on July 3, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers.

She was born on July 3, 1930, in Marble to Ernest Arthur Haley and Ada Ethel Harp.

She enjoyed reading, sewing, traveling, soap operas and dairy farming.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Joe Bernard Loftin.

She is survived by three sons, Montrey Freeman and wife Francis of Burleson, Texas, Gerald Freeman and wife Laura of Lincoln and Travis Loftin and wife Amanda of Bentonville; five daughters, Pamela Conner and husband Tommy of Mansfield, Texas, Stormy Gale Wood and husband J.R. of Winslow, LaDonna Freeman of Springdale, LaWonna Freeman of Fayetteville and Jo Lynnette Wilcox of Carrollton, Texas; a brother, Willey Harp of California; five sisters, Hellen Main of Cave Springs, Jesse Kelley of Berryville, LaVon Martinez of Atwater, Calif., Pearly Rodriguez of Mount Holly, N.J., and Ethel Dill of Rogersville, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Wilson Cemetery in Springdale.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
