Ms. Banks was a daughter of Benjamin and Eula Nelson Reed. She was predeceased by her husband, S. B. Banks; one son, James G. Harris-Banks; one brother, B. J. Reed; and one sister, Bertha Norton.
Her survivors included two daughters Gladys Jones and Linda Burns; one brother, Bennie Reed; two sisters, Pernola Reed and Virgie Lee Brim; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
