Iva Grace McGowan, 79, of Calico Rock died Wednesday (Nov. 13, 1991) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. She had been a resident of the Calico Rock area for most of her life and was a native of Stone County. Mrs. McGowan was born to the later Arthur and Mary Sullivan Wallace. She was affiliated with the Bethel Springs Mennonite Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Arville Ernest McGowan, of the home; Other survivors include four sons, Ernest, Jeff, Jesse and Paul McGowan all of Calico Rock; one daughter, Carol Bench of Norfork; two brothers, Jesse Wallace of Mountain Home and Olen Wallace of West Plains, MO; one sister, Nellie Hall of Mountain View; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a sister and two brothers.
Services will be at Tablerock Community Center today at 2 p.m. The Rev. Floyd Miller and ther Rev. Guy Pharis will officiate. Burial will be at Tablerock Cemetery. Arrangements are by Howard Funera Home of Calico Rock.
