Metz Irene Farmer, daughter of the late George and Mattie Ellen Allison Peters was born October 27, 1906 in Charleston, Mississippi. She died September 16, 1999 at Mountain Home. She was 92.
Mrs. Farmer was united in marriage to Theo Everett Farmer May 18, 1924. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two sons, Theodore Farmer of Pineville and Phillip Farmer of Jordan; two daughters, Ruth Wilson of Dolph and Glenda Fisher of Hermitage, Tennessee; one sister Becky Furley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two daughters, two brothers, and one sister.
Graveside services were September 18, 1999 at Dolph Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Dave Williamson officiating. Pallbearers were Chris Farmer, Allen Farmer, Michael Farmer, Jeff Fisher, Warren Sanders and Eddie Fisher.
Arrangements were by Howard Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
