March 26, 1881 - December 3, 1964
Mrs. E. A. Reasons, 83, of 1721 Pecan St., Texarkana, a frequent visitor to El Dorado, died in Texarkana last week. Funeral services were held in East Funeral Home of Texarkana, with the Rev. M. T. McGregor and the Rev. C. E. McGlothin officiating. Burial was in the cemetery at Waldo. Pallbearers were A. E. Croww, G. L. Gillahay, L. L. Beall, J. A. Measel, E. J. Biagilor and J. A. Beauchamp. Mrs. Reasons, who was Miss Maude Douglass before her marriage, was born in Emmet March 26, 1881, the daughter of Nell Eliza Woodall Harris and James Rankin Douglass. She was a Real Daughter of Albert Pike chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, a member of the Beech Street Baptist Church, and of Texarkana Garden and Music Clubs. She leaves her husband and six nieces, Mrs. R. M. Burrow and Mrs. John Harlow, both of El Dorado, Mrs. Hazel Brown of North Little Rock, Mrs. Daisy Wortham of Little Rock, Mrs. Henry Turner of Texarkana and Mrs. Virginia Seago of Smackover.
