Janice V. Price, 81, died Oct. 18, 2003, in Muskegon, Mich.
Born March 27, 1922, in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., she was the daughter of Joseph and Mertie Grove Parth. She lived in several different areas before moving to the Muskegon area. She loved to garden and was called Garden Lady. She enjoyed ceramics and crocheted booties for the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Arkansas. She was a member of Horseshoe Bend Baptist Church and Moorland Community Church in Muskegon, and she was presently attending Wolf Lake Baptist Church in Muskegon.
She marred her husband, Allan Price, Dec. 28, 1956, in Kalamazoo, Mich., and he preceded her in death 18 years ago.
Survivors include two children ? Laura (Steve) Hilton of Ravenna, Mich. and Rachel (Ted) Warner of Russelville; seven grandchildren--Loundy, Michael, Kristin and Jenna Hilton, and Ashley, Brandon and Autumn Warner; a brother, Loundy (Florence) Parth of Saginaw, Mich.; a sister, Irene (Marvin) Kincade of Willow Springs, Mo.; and a sister-in-law, Marcia Price of Kalamazoo.
Graveside services were Oct. 23 at Violet Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were by Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel.
