FAYETTEVILLE — Ms. Vetral "Vee" Silcott, 82, of Fayetteville passed away April 21, 2007, in Fayetteville. She was born June 8, 1924, in Keota, Okla., to John Dawson and Lily Lela Greenwood.

She retired from Community Bank of Oklahoma City in 1989, where she was a bank teller, and she was previously employed with Mcllroy Bank and Trust in Fayetteville. She moved to Texarkana in 1991 and back to Fayetteville in 1994. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

She was a loving mother and an adored Nana and G.G. to her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Edwina Wilson and husband Jerry of Little Rock, Sharon Crumpton of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Stephanie Painter and husband Eric of Germantown, Tenn., Andrea Whitfield of Collierville, Tenn., Kevin Crumpton and wife Beth of Colorado Springs, Colo., Matt Crumpton and wife Tracy of Chaska, Minn.; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday with the funeral service at 2 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, online at www.nelsonberna.com. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Foundation or a favorite charity.
