Rachel Elizabeth Putnam, 78, of Monterey, Cailf., died Mondat at Monterey. She was born March 25, 1925, in Arkansas to Herbert Lee and Laura Elizabeth Groomer Fairless.
She was a homemaker and member of the Order of the Eastdrn Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Ramona Putnam; a son, James William Putnam; and three sisters, Buelah Murphy, Beatrice Flynn and Ruth Harp.
Private service will be Monday at Fairview Meomorial Gardens of Fayetteville.
