Ruby Jewell Gardner, 57, of Springdale died Dec. 18, 1999, at Springdale. She was born Feb. 11, 1942, in Boston (Madison County) to Scott Marrs Sr. and Myrtle Porter Marrs. She was a member of Faith Regular Baptist Church in Springdale.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy Gardner of the home; two sons, Randy G. Haught of Springdale and Rickey D. Haught of Witter; one stepson, Hank Gardner of Springdale; her father of Fayetteville; two sisters, Leveda Bolick and LaVern Moore, both of Springdale; two brothers, Scott Marrs Jr. and Clayton Marrs, both of Fayetteville; one grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Regular Baptist Church in Springdale with the Rev. Johnny Sisemore officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today. Arrangements are by Nelson's Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
