Glenda worked with her father, Glenn Hopper, from 1974 to 1991 in the Mountain Home office of Hopper Termite & Pest Management. When she moved to the Heber Springs area, Glenda was the office manager.
Glenda was a member of the Arkansas Pest Management Association and the National Women in Pest Control Management. She held a pest control license issued by the Arkansas State Plant Board.
Glenda's survivors included her husband, Mark Derrickson, daughter, Kristie Newcom, and sons, Cliff Derrickson and Kyle Derrickson.
