Opal Juanita Willett, 79
Opal Juanita Willett, 79, passed away June 12, 2001. She was born Nov. 4, 1921, to William A. and Lela Mae Jones Hodge.
A lifetime resident of Izard and Baxter counties, she married Russell Willett in Mountain Home March 9, 1941. She was a homemaker, a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Mrs. Willett is survived by her husband, Russell; seven sons, Karel Sanders, James, Billy, Kenny, Charlie, Benny and Rusty Willett; three daughters, Ilene Stevenson, Alice Cranfill and Peggy Miller; one sister, Ruth Lamb; 27 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Leon Willett; one sister, Goldie Perry; and one brother, Frank Hodge.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Gary Wise officiating. Pallbearers will be her sons, one grandson and sons-in-law.
Memorials may be made to Baxter County Oak Grove Cemetery Fund at Peoples Bank & Trust Co.
