Mrs. Smith was a resident of Jersey. She was a daughter of the late William Sinclair and Rosetta Stegall Sinclair. She was a member of the Hermitage United Methodist Church and was the retired owner of Smith's Store. She married Carroll D. Smith on March 21, 1928. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1985. She was survived by her daughter, Carolyn Rawls and husband Gene of Crossett; and 2 grandchildren.
