Othell was preceded in death by three husbands who were not named in her obituary; she was the daughter of Andy Luther and Mittie A. Love

Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian Othell Whited, 81, of Salem, will be this morning at 10 at the Ash Flat United Methodist Church, with Loye Vern Mason and Vernua Wiles officiating. Burial will follow in Wiles Cemetery under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service of Hardy.
Pallbearers will be Larry Wiles, Randy Love, Blake Love, Terry Hunt, Chris Plumlee and Kevin Weathers.
Mrs. Whited died Saturday at the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a beautician and a member of the United Methodist Church in Ash Flat.
Survivors include two brothers, Enos Love of Salem and Olen Love of West Plains, Mo., and one sister, Evelyn Weathers of Salem.
She was preceded in death by three husbands and two brothers.
