FAYETTEVILLE — Arthur Harlan Skelton, 86, of Fayetteville died Aug. 22, 2005, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Dec. 13, 1918, in Hazel Valley to Henry Eli and Priscilla Fay Anderson Skelton. He was the retired owner of Ozark Windows. He was a member of North Street Church of Christ and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Madelyn "Peggy" Skelton; one son, Terry Hoover of Sapulpa, Okla.; one daughter, Pam Pegg of Shreveport, La.; four brothers, Quentin Skelton and Lawrence Skelton, both of Springdale, Pierson Skelton of Cane Hill and Dwain Skeltcn of Easton, Kan.; two sisters, Naomi Bradley of Searcy and Rose Wagner of Tulsa, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Black Oak Church of Christ. Burial will be in Black Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
