Wife of Cleo Clarence Combs. Lucille Imogene (Mobley) Combs the daughter of Lonnie Mobley and Bertha (Grigsby) Mobley.

Lucille Combs

Lucille Combs, 85, of Jonesboro, formerly of Hoxie, died June 15, in Jonesboro.

Born Feb. 19, 1925, in Bald Knob, she was the daughter of Lonnie and Bertha Grigsby Mobley. A homemaker, she had lived in Lawrence County most of her life and was of the Missionary Baptist belief.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Combs; a sister, Irene Duke; and a brother, Earl Mobley.

Survivors include a daughter, Sally Willfond, Hoxie; two sons, Marvin Combs, Jonesboro, and Billy Jeff Combs, Walnut Ridge; a sister, Novadean Johnson, Florida; four brothers, Roy Mobley, Texas, Eddie Mobley and Eugene Mobley, both of Holland, Mich., and Robert Mobley, Pocahontas; four grandchildren, Geri Ann Alls, Kathy Baxter, Starla Combs and Phillip Willfond; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral was Friday at 2 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home with Terry Vandergriff officiating. Burial was in Oak Forest Cemetery at Black Rock.

Pallbearers were Steve Virgin, Jerry Williams, Richard Alls, Phillip Willfond, Scott Baxter and Brandon Baxter.
