Veda Mavis White, 89, of Paragould, died Wednesday in the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.
Born at Lafe, she worked as a bookkeeper at Rowe's Tax Service and was a member of Gainesville Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Butch White of Lafe; Stella Crawford of Muscotah, Kan., and Phyllis Houghton of Fresno, Calif.; one brother, James Harrison of Memphis; one sister, Elsie Cunningham of Olive Branch, Miss.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer White; her parents, Gussie Thomas and Minnie Pearl Haneline Harrison; and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Gainesville Church of Christ, with Larry McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery at Lafe under the direction of Heath Funeral Home of Paragould.
