Rogers friends of Joseph Thomas, who lived just south of Rogers on the old Daughetry farm, were shocked to learn of his sudden death last Friday morning. He was baptised in the First Baptist church at Lowell July 25, 1922 and had since lived a Christian life. Mr. Thomas was married to Louisa Duffer February 22, 1909 and to this union were born six children, one dying in infancy.
