Cora M PRATT

Lorado Cemetery
Greene County,
Arkansas

Mrs. Cora B. Pratt of Jonesboro went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was the first born of the late Mack and Roxie Burrow of Lorado on Feb. 21, 1909.

She was in every sense a Proverb 31 woman, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

She and her late husband John L. Pratt were landowners and merchants.

She later became affiliated with Broadway Department Store and because of her love of sewing and clothes in her last days still talked about Ralph and Maxine Broadway and Dale and Laura McKenney and those good days.

She is survived by a son, Robert M. Pratt of Jonesboro; one daughter, LaDoris Greenway and husband Ted of Paragould; six grandchildren, Dennis Pratt and Melody Ingram of Jonesboro, Kim Greenway Howell and Dede Greenway Ford of Little Rock, Michael Pratt of Las Vegas and Karen Pratt Hernandez of Killeen, Texas; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons, Aaron Pratt, Sam Ford, Joe Ford, Will Ford, Brad Horrell, Tim Pratt and Allen Pratt.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. in Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Brother Robert Gunnels officiating.

Burial will follow in Lorado Cemetery.
