Miss Birdie B Ward, 77, of Clinton, died Sunday. Born Feb 27, 1908, at Bee Branch, she was a daughter of John Hubbard and Sara Cossey Ward. She was a cook at the Arkansas schools for the Deaf and Blind in Little Rock and a member of the Steel-Hopewell United Methodist Church at Bee Branch. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Cora Mahan of Marshall (Searcy county). Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at steel Hopewell United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Scott officiating. Burial will be in Blackwell Cemetery at Bee Branch. Pallbearers will be Larry Mahan and Calvin, Randy, Sammy, Gerald, and Robert Ward.
