Mrs. Hattie May Booth, 61, died suddenly December 8, at her home near Buford. She is survived by her husband, J.L. Booth, three children, Allen Bolding and Mrs. Hazel Fletcher of Cartney and Mrs. Jessie Caststeel of Buford, also by three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Haney, Mrs. Mat Sinor of Cartney and Mrs. Kate Massey of Ellington, MO and by two brothers, Bill Smith of Lowell and Ed Smith of Pleasant Valley, and by 11 grandchildren. She had been a member of the Methodist Church since early life. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Fairview Church, conducted by the Rev. Russell Roberts of Mt. Olive. The Adams Funeral Home of Cotter was in charge.

(Her grave is next to her first husband, and the father of her children. She is buried under the Bolding name, even though her surname was Booth at the time of her death.)
