Siloam Springs - Samuel Taylor Corn, 70, lifetime resident of this area died Friday morning at the local hospital after an extended illness. Born Dec. 21, 1893, near Siloam Springs, he was a retired farmer and a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Cynthia Garrett, Decatur; one son, Eual D. Corn, Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, J. C. Corn, Longview, Tex.; two sister, Mrs. Velma Randolph, Beeville, Tex. and Mrs. Minnie Mason, Orangedale, Calif. and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Pyeatte Funeral Service chapel. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
