Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) at 2PM ath the Old Galatia Methodist Church for Mr. Velma Lee Pruitt, 46. She died Tuesday at Salem. A native of Old Joe, she was a Protestant.
Mrs. Pruitt was born July 13, 1931, in Old Joe, the daughter of Otto Teegarden and the late former Virgina Lee Warner. She was married in 1950 at Norfork to Henry E. Pruitt.
Survivors include her husband of the home; three daughters, Esta L. McGowan and Marlene Staggs, both of Calico Rock and Marie Pruitt of Old Joe; her father of Jordan; three brothers, Dwight Teegarden and Noel Teegarden, both of Jordan, and Ed Teegarden of Dolph; six sisters, Esta Mae Foster and Gay Loosey, both of Norfork, Jessie Marie Napier of Old Joe, Lena Parnell of Mt. Home, Shirley Moore of Flippin, and Rosie Stapleton of Calico Rock; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be officiate by Rev. Paul Huskey.
Pallbearers will be Don Hudgens, Roe Whitfield, Eudell Suthard, Theo Funkhouser, L.H. Clark and Dolan Acklin.
Visitation will be from 8AM-9PM today (Thursday) at the Roller Funeral Home in Mt. Home.
Interment will take place at Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
