Daughter of Pleasant "Pleas" & Mary Ellen Hilyard Dickerson.
Married Earl Abraham Parnell, February 13, 1910.

Mrs. Lucy B. Parnell, 79, of Norfork, died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Cox, on old Highway 5 Southeast. A lifetime resident of Baxter County, she was the widow of Earl Abraham Parnell, and was a member of the Norfork Baptist Church.
Mrs. Parnell was born May 30, 1892, the daughter of Peas Dickerson and Mary Elle Hilyard Deckerson. She had been widowed since June 24, 1966.
Survivors include seven sons, Ralph, Ernest, Aarl and Thomas, all of Norfork, Ray of Wichita, KS and Gene and Lynn, both of Effingham KS; three dauthers, Mrs. Lea Chapman of Norfork, Mrs Virgie Cox and Mrs Hazel Cox, both of Mt. Home; a sister Mrs. Hattie Parnell of Norfork; 32 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the Norfork Baptist Church with Rev. John Evans officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery near Norfork under the direction of the McClure-Smith Service.
Pallbearers were W.S. Benbrook, Sid Skidmore, Rudolph Torrance, Gene Adams, Ross Alexander and Ransom Stewart.
