Clarence Dayton Peterman, aged 75 of Bearden died at his home at _:45 a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Peterman was a retired farmer, and had been living in Bearden for 16 years. He was a native of Dayton, Ohio where he was born October 5, 1885. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sara Helen Martens Peterman; a son, Willis Glen Peterman of Pine Bluff; three daughters, Mrs. Lily _oss, and Mrs. Martha Sheffield of Pine Bluff, and Mrs. Opal Lindsey of Bearden; two brothers, James Peterman of Canton, Okla., and Earnest Peterman of Los Angeles, Calif; and by seven grand children. Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Salem Baptist Church conducted by Elder Melvin Childers. Burial will be in the Salem cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. Casket bearers are Robert Fell, Irvin Nutt, Ray Ford, J. A. Humphries and Lee Jones. (Camden News - March 22, 1961)
