A funeral for Nellie R. Small, 88, of Gassville will be held at 2PM today at the Flippin Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Donnie Sherrill officiating. Burial will be at the Norfork Cemetery. Mrs. Small died Wednesday (Feb 27, 1991) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Pallbearers will be Bill Burkhart, Bill Bohannon, Mark Kueter, Paul David, Virgil Dewey and Wes Due.
Mrs. Small was born on May 1, 1902, at Chadwick, MO and was a homemaker. She married Leslie Small on Dec 13, 1919. She was a member of the Flippin Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by one son, Zion Small of St Louis, MO; two daughters, Lillian Burks of Flippin and Martha Lafferty of Independence, MO; 23 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, both parents, John and Lillie St. John Puckett, two sons and three daughters.
