Josephine B. Dorris, age 78, of Camden, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016. She was born November 8, 1937 in Camden, AR to Lonnie and Regina Bright Sanders. She was a member of the Church of Christ, owner of K & J Used Book Store, and worked at IP Bag-Pak Division. Josephine loved to cook and take care of her family. She enjoyed going to the bookstore and socializing with everyone. She had a wonderful personality and never met a stranger.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Dorris; son, Donald W. Dorris, Jr.; parents; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Ocille Sanders, and brother, Raymond Sanders. She is survived by her children, Donna Dorris, Sherry Burchfield, and husband, Frank, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Dorris; sister-in-law, Patsy Sanders; grandchildren, Frank Burchfield and wife, Kay, Clint Dorris, Sr., and wife, Heather, Katie Dowell and husband, Chris, and Josh Dorris; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Dorris, Hailey Dorris, Clint Dorris, Jr., Peyton Burchfield, and Jaxson Dowell.
Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at New Hope Cemetery at Woodberry. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
