Bruce Merl Grider, age 64, of Warren died Saturday April 30, at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren. Born August 16, 1940 in Sumpter, AR., a son of the late Curtis Chester Grider and Zula Pearl Beasley Grider he was a mechanic and a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife Barbara Briant Grider whom he married November 19, 1967 in Warren, AR., 1 daughter Leslie Paige Smith of Little Rock, AR., 3 sisters Perma Lee Ross and Eloise Sledd both of Warren, AR., and Josephine Bowman of Shreveport, LA. 3 grandchildren. A son Jason Wade Grider also preceded him in death.
Graveside services were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 3, with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Cleve Briant, Hugh Allen Beasley, Hoyle Mann, Loyd Grider, Bill Durham, Ronald Gene Bowman and Blake Cargile. Arrangements by Frazer's Funeral Home.
