Garry Don Grider, age 60, of Hermitage, AR died Friday, Jan 8, 2010 at home. He was born September 2, 1949 in Bradley County, AR, a son of the late Howard Graves Grider and Sarah Marie Gorman Grider. He was a retired logger and a member of Farmville Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife, Margie Grimm Grider, whom he married on October 25, 2003; 1 son- Brian Grider and spouse, Amber of Warren, AR; 1 step son- Adam Johnson and spouse, Stacy of Huttig, AR; 1 step daughter- Casey Robinson and spouse, Jeff of Warren, AR; 3 brothers- Kenneth Grider of Baton Rouge, LA, Gorman Grider of Warren, AR. and Robert Grider of Jacksonville, AR; 4 grandchildren- Justin Grider, Chelcie Grider, Alyssa Grider and Thomas Johnson. Funeral service was 4:00pm Monday, Jan 11, 2010 at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Charles Cauley officiating. Organist was Linda Barrett. Soloist was Mike McDougald. Burial was in Gravelridge Cemetery near Hermitage by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Adam Johnson, Jeff Robinson, Josh Robinson, Tony Robinson, John Latta, Mike Grider, Jeremy McDougald, and Scott Steadman. Honorary pallbearers were Lynn Napier, Marle Hargis, Ronnie Isom, and Karen Richardson.
