Carrie Nell Burks age 92, Warren, AR died Tuesday , November 12 at the Chapel Woods Nursing Home. She was Born September 1, 1921 in Cleveland County, AR a daughter of the late Tom Burks and Lillie Endsley Burks. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a life long beautician and started Carrie Nells Beauty Shop in Warren. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl A Burks whom she married in 1936 and he died in 1973. Brothers Joe Burks, Preston Burks, Calvin Burks, Travis Burks and a sister Ruthie Mae Childress.
Survivors include her 2 daughters Pat Baker, Bryant, AR and Linda Wooldridge, Warren, AR. a brother G. W. Burks, Belton, MO. 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services were 1:30PM Monday, November 18th at Moseley Cemetery with Rev. Rocky Goodwin officiating. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Matthew Hendrich, Derik McCoy, Doug McClellan and Kirby Baggett. (Frazer Funeral Home - Warren, Arkansas)
