Farmerville, La. - Mrs. Elease Craig, 49, died Friday at her home, Rt. 1, Huttig. Survivors include her husband, Johnnie Craig, of Huttig; a son, Jimmie Craig, Huttig; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Billings, El Dorado, and Mrs. Jerry Gatson, Strong; one brother, B. Craig, Roland, La.; one sister, Mrs. Jerry Gatson, Strong; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Olive AME Church of Huttig with the pastor officiating. Burial will be in Batts Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Union Funeral Home of Farmerville. (El Dorado Times - January 9, 1974)
