Terri Lee Spann Murphree of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023. Terri was a loving mother to her son Matthew Murphree and proud grandmother to her granddaughter, Alexis Murphree.
Terri loved and was loved by many, to include her “sister” and best friend of more than 45 years, Alicia Ward. Terri’s circle of friends were like family to her. That family included her “big sisters” Beth Lockwood and Judy Stroh, who also journeyed alongside Terri for more than 45 years. Terri was blessed with the love and support of many more friends who were significant threads in Terri’s life.
Terri was preceded in death by her loving Nana, Celia Campbell, her father, Ed Spann and stepmother, Pat Spann, as well as her mother, Margaret Warner and stepfather, Marshall Warner. She loved all her aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Uncle Charles Henry and family. Terri also loved her stepbrothers, Ted (and Patty) Bell and Tommy Bell.
Terri was an enormous dog lover, extending love and affection to numerous fortunate animals. Terri was employed by Southwest EAP, owned and operated by Maggie Young, who extended much love and support to Terri throughout Terri’s 20 plus years of employment. Terri respected and sincerely cared for her many peers and she held dearly the many professional relationships she developed throughout the years. She took great pride in her profession, which enabled her to provide assistance to so many people.
Dear friend, you will be enormously missed by all who knew and loved you, but true to your spirit, we will celebrate the blessing of your love and friendship as we draw from your unmatched resilience and steadfast strength.
With special thanks to Peggy Hogg, a Celebration of Terri’s Life will be held Sunday, December 17th from 2:00-5:00 PM at Hogg’s Meat Market Restaurant, NLR, AR (hoggsmeatmarket.com).
