Nora Lee Miles Easter was born on April 14, 1938, in Marion, Louisiana to Bill Miles and Mary Ewing Miles. At an early age, Nora accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, after which under the leadership of Elder L.C. Cook, she received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at the age of 14. She was educated in the Huttig Public Schools and Union Parish Industrial High School. She was later employed with Murray Groceries, The Strong Clinic, First Baptist Church Of Strong Daycare, The Pratt Family and was a foster parent to many children over the years.

Missionary Easter met and married the love of her life, Hilbert James Easter and to this union, four children were born.
She served the Church Of God In Christ in many capacities over the years including District Field Worker, District Missionary of the Eldorado East and Eldorado Central Districts and she faithfully served as First Lady of the Philippian Church of God In Christ beside her husband, the late Superintendent H.J. Easter for over 33 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers; Billy Lee Miles, Willie Horace Miles, and Terry Miles as well as one sister Rosa Lee Miles. She leaves to mourn her memory; three daughters; Missionary Brenda Harris (Elder John Harris) of Desoto, Texas; Debra Easter; Camilla Cole (Elder Emmitt Cole); one son, James Easter all of Huttig, Arkansas; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters; Dorothy Jean Miles and Shirley Miles Hooker; one sister-in-law Mother Lenora Roach; one brother-in-law Melvin (Ruby) Easter; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the Philippian Church Of God In Christ family.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at the ST Andrews AME Church in Huttig, AR.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 17, 2020, from 5 until 7 at the St Andrews Church.
Burial will follow in the Batts Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR. (Mitchell Funeral Home - Crossett, Arkansas)
