Sis. Lou Alice Goldsby, 81 of Huttig, AR passed away on Wednesday May 9, 2018 at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Lou Alice confessed her faith in Christ at a very early age and was baptized at the Batts Chapel Baptist Church in Huttig, Arkansas where she faithfully served as Choir President, Culinary Committee, Missionary Society and Church Mother until her health began to fail. She loved her church family where she preached kindness and respect for others. She was a graduate of Gardner High School in Strong, Arkansas. After high school she graduated from Williams School of Cosmetology in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ivy and Savannah Daniels.

Lou Alice leaves her cherished memories: one daughter; LaWanda Daniels Rivers of Houston, Texas. Two sons; Gregory (Sherrie) Goldsby of Crossett, Arkansas and Darrell (Barbara) Goldsby of Huttig, Arkansas. Three sisters; Lou Nora Lovett of Huttig, Arkansas, Leola Williams of Strong, Arkansas and Bernice (Don) Jackson of Houston, Texas. Two brothers; Ivy, Jr. (Brenda) Daniels of Strong, Arkansas and George Daniels of Huttig, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
