Ima Jane Bury, 88, of Fort Smith(Sebastian County), Arkansas, died Saturday, February 2, 2008, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Goddard United Methodist Church. Ima was also the former president of the Women's Society Christian Service at Midland Heights United Methodist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Bury.
Ima Jane is survived by a daughter: Carita Alberty and her husband Dr. Joe Paul Alberty of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and two grandchildren: Brett Alberty of Little Rock and Scott Alberty and wife, Bernie of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Funeral services was held on Wednesday at 2:00pm on February 6, 2008, at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel. Private entombment was held at Woodlawn Mausoleum in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Paul Sidler, Hal Davis, Bobby Davis, Doye Wright, Mike Leford, Tommy Davis, and Fre Goebel.
