Argentia Jewel Osborne Atkison, 84, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, at her home.

She was born Aug. 7, 1922, in Robinson to John Crantford Osborne and Lydia Eula Roberts Osborne. She was a graduate of Fayetteville High School.

She had been a longtime member of Sang Avenue Baptist Church and was currently a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. She had worked for Daisy Manufacturing in Rogers and retired from Shakespeare Company in Fayetteville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Atkison; her sister, Juanita Brooks; and a son-in-law, Ron Villines.

She is survived by a daughter, Marsha Villines of St. Louis; grandson, Kent Villines and his wife, Laura, of Fayetteville; a granddaughter, Sheri Mattson and her husband, Brian, of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and two great-grandchildren, Nick and Hannah Villines of Fayetteville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Dennis officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
